GrantAdler Receives Keystone Innovation Zone Grant

GrantAdler Corporation has received a $15,000 Keystone Innovation Zone Grant from the State of Pennsylvania. The program, managed locally by the Lehigh Valley Economic Development Corporation, was one of the state-funded incentives that motivated GrantAdler to move its operations from Illinois to Bethlehem, PA.

GrantAdler develops medical implants called ports. A port sits under the skin to make it more convenient for healthcare providers to inject medicines into patients who, for example, are undergoing chemotherapy.

GrantAdler Receives $100,000 Ben Franklin Grant

GrantAdler Corporation has received a $100,000 investment from Ben Franklin Technology Partners of Northeastern Pennsylvania as part of Ben Franklin’s program to improve the economic future of Pennsylvania by building partnerships with high-growth companies that develop and apply technology for a competitive advantage.

The $100,000
investment will help GrantAdler complete development of a new vascular access port and support its expanding sales and distribution efforts. GrantAdler is developing and producing a new line of implantable products that allow easier, catheterized access to blood vessels for a variety of procedures.

The company’s initial focus is vascular access for administering chemotherapy drugs and for conducting kidney dialysis.

GrantAdler’s first product, Rhapsody® CT+, which received FDA approval in 2007, has unique design features that make it competitive in the chemotherapy infusion-port market.
