The GrantAdler Story
GrantAdler Corporation was founded in 2006 by high-technology business executive, Rob Loiterman and vascular surgeon/inventor, David Loiterman, MD, to develop and produce innovative vascular access devices that not only provide special benefits for the venous delivery of chemotherapy, but also introduce a new level of comfort, convenience, and reliability to venous access during renal dialysis.

During 2007 GrantAdler launched its Rhapsody product line. The company’s operations were originally launched in Illinois by Mr. Michael Loiterman. Utilizing his creativity, technical skills and ingenuity, Michael organized the production of the first prototype Rhapsody products and obtained GrantAdler’s first FDA product clearance.

In 2008 GrantAdler moved its headquarters to Bethlehem, PA to access the Lehigh Valley’s excellent health centers, clinical experts, and professionals experienced in government-backed financing, as well as to take advantage of the area’s extensive network of business advisors and funding sources. 2008 also brought Rob Loiterman to the reins of the company as Chief Executive Officer. Moving beyond the level of investor to an active leadership role, Rob brought his business prowess and management operations skills to bear by directing GrantAdler’s market penetration activities and by acquiring the financing for future growth.

Mr. Loiterman also brought to the team two highly experienced medical device executives: Walt Bartholomew and Phil DiNapoli. As a result, GrantAdler is the recipient of state-backed funding from Ben Franklin Technology Partners, Life Science Greenhouse, and the Keystone Innovation Zone. Corporate offices are located in the Ben Franklin Technology Incubator at the Lehigh University Mountaintop campus.
